Entries (services)
Entry is a service to participate in a dated competition. By confirming your entry, you request immediate performance of the service and acknowledge that your statutory cancellation right ends when your ticket/entry is issued. Accordingly, entries are non-refundable after purchase, except as required by law or where we cancel a competition (see Terms & Conditions).
Overview The Company operates prize competitions that involve entry into draws to win luxury goods. Each entry, whether paid or obtained via a free entry route, represents a confirmed spot in a prize draw. Due to the nature of the competitions, once an entry has been submitted and accepted, it cannot generally be cancelled or refunded.
No Right of Cancellation After Entry
- By submitting an entry (whether paid or free), the participant confirms understanding that the competition constitutes a service which commences immediately upon entry confirmation.
- Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the right to cancel does not apply once performance of the service has begun with the consumer’s consent.
- Therefore, all entries are final and non-refundable, unless expressly stated otherwise in writing by the Company.
Irrevocability After Ticket Confirmation
- Once an entry has been confirmed and the digital ticket or participation confirmation has been issued, the participant agrees that the Company has fulfilled its service obligations. At this point, the participant waives any right to cancel, withdraw, or request a refund under applicable consumer protection laws. This includes but is not limited to email confirmations, digital dashboards, or account-based confirmations.
Exceptions and Discretionary Refunds
The Company may, at its sole discretion, consider refund requests in the following limited cases:
- Duplicate payment due to technical fault.
- Fraudulent transaction (e.g., proven identity theft).
- Clear administrative error on the part of the Company.
In each of the above, written evidence may be required, and a processing fee may apply.
Refund Process and Timelines
If a refund is approved by the Company:
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method only.
- Processing time may take up to 15 business days.
- Any bank or transaction fees incurred will not be refunded.
Subscription and Auto-Renewal Entries
Where the participant has opted into a recurring entry plan:
- Cancellations of future renewals must be made at least 48 hours before the next billing date.
- Cancellation will not affect entries already submitted.
Chargebacks and Disputes
- Participants agree not to initiate chargebacks for valid competition entries.
- Unlawful or abusive chargeback attempts may result in suspension of the participant’s account and legal recovery actions.
General Rights and Fairness
- The Company reserves the right to cancel or suspend any competition due to technical, regulatory, or other unforeseen circumstances.
- In such cases, entry fees may be refunded or rolled into an alternative competition at the Company’s discretion.
